30 seconds recreation task

For our 30 seconds recreation task we decided to choose the song How Can I Compete by The Magic Gang. We decided to recreate this song as we believe the indie genre shows ordinary people in everyday life so therefore we are able to recreate it to the best of our abilities with the mise en scenes we have access to.

Californication

I practiced creating storyboards using the song 'Californication' by Red Hot Chili Peppers:

This allowed me to develop skills so that when it comes to story boarding my own music video I will know how to do it efficiently. Furthermore allowed me to get used to the the tempo and using a musical bar to write a storyboard.

Introduction

For our A level task we have been asked to create a promotion package for the release of an album. Personally I am most looking forward to use my initiative and create the album cover and design the web page promoting the artist.

I particularly hope to gain skills and confidence in regards to using different settings on the camera to create the most effective look when shooting the music video. Furthermore I also want to become more confident when using the editing software, Premier Pro, so that we can use impressive effects so our music video can be exceptional.

My main aim is create a piece of work which is interesting, exciting and entertaining.
